BOSTON, MA (AUGUST 18, 2015) – Judge Baker Children’s Center (Judge Baker), a leader in providing research, programs and support in children’s mental health issues, today announced that it elected Michele Courton Brown, Chief Executive Officer of Quality Interactions and John Serafini, Vice President at Allied Minds, to its Board of Trustees. After heavy rains caused the cancellation of the original June 15 date for the tournament, Judge Baker finally held its 10th annual golf tournament on July 22nd!  One hundred golfers enjoyed a perfect summer day at Blue Hill Country Club and helped raise more than $85,000 for the children and families of Judge Baker Children's Center.  We thank everyone for their generous support and for giving up their day for such a great cause! Next Step Summer Program 2015

Next Step is designed to prepare high school students with Asperger’s Disorder (or other related conditions) for a successful transition to college.  The program assesses, develops and refines the critical social and pragmatic skills that these students need in order to master their college experience.  Students participate in all or just some of the offered sessions. Last year we piloted the program to 21 students/ families with very positive results.
