Allison Jekogian, Psy.D.
Allison Jekogian, Psy.D. is the Director of the Summer Enrichment Institute at Judge Baker Children’s Center. Dr. Jekogian graduated from Union College with a B.S. in Psychology and received her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from William James College. She completed practicum training in a number of school-based settings, including two years of training at the Manville School, and completed her predoctoral internship at Franciscan Children’s, where she provided outpatient and school-based psychotherapy for children and adolescents with a range of social, emotional, and behavioral disorders, and conducted psychological and neuropsychological evaluations. In addition to her role at the Summer Enrichment Institute, Dr. Jekogian is currently a full-time clinician at the Manville School at Judge Baker Children’s Center.
Dr. Jekogian's professional interests include providing psychotherapy in school and milieu settings. She utilizes cognitive-behavioral interventions and evidence-based treatments to help children and adolescents learn skills to effectively modulate their emotional and behavioral experiences across settings, and uses similar techniques to help parents effectively address behavioral and emotional challenges at home. Dr. Jekogian is also passionate about psychological and neuropsychological evaluation. She applies a process approach to interpretation and formulation and focuses on how a child's unique profile of strengths and vulnerabilities impacts his or her cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
