Bobby Hermesch, LICSW
Bobby Hermesch became the Milieu Director at Manville in September 2012. Prior to this role he’d worn quite a few hats at Manville over the years, including classroom counselor, unit coordinator, and clinician. In his role as an administrator, he seeks to help provide a compassionate, consistent environment in which students can learn, grow, and access the support to help meet their challenges.
In addition to his work with children, Bobby has had extensive experience providing clinical services for adults and families. He has worked in a community mental health center as an individual and group therapist for adults with major mental illness, a substance abuse counselor, and a therapist for college students. Throughout his work, Bobby has cultivated a practice of mindfulness, helping people to create the space within their selves to bring about change as well as acceptance.
Bobby graduated with a Masters degree in Social Work from Simmons College in 2007, and is currently a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker.
