Chelsey Robinson, LICSW
Chelsey Robinson is a Staff Social Worker at the Center for Effective Child Therapy and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of New Hampshire. Chelsey earned her master’s degree at Wheelock College with a concentration in Early Education where she completed her clinical placement at Boston Children’s Hospital.
Chelsey specializes in the clinical treatment of the Early Education population. Her career experience includes treating children for anxiety related disorders, depression, conduct and trauma. She is trained in several evidenced based practices including Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, MATCH-ADTC, and Parent-Child Psychotherapy. Chelsey has received state recognition for her clinical work under the Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative in 2011.
In addition to her work at the Center for Effective Child Therapy, Chelsey also works at the Brookline Mental Health Center where she is responsible for clinically treating children and facilitating social pragmatic groups. She is currently the liaison for the BEEP Early Education program. Recently, Chelsey has developed and implemented an Early Education Mental Health Consultation service for Brookline Early Education providers.
