Improving care. Changing lives.

Elizabeth Fitzsimons

Director of Development

Liz Fitzsimons became Director of Development for Judge Baker Children’s Center in September, 2005. Liz brought with her 15 years of experience in the non-profit field, specifically in fundraising and special events. She has a stellar record of successful fundraising events and has reshaped the development efforts of Judge Baker in terms of donor outreach and support.

Prior to joining Judge Baker, Liz was the Director of Development at a private all-girls high school located south of Boston. She was responsible for all development efforts and oversaw the Communications and Alumnae relations staff, working with them to increase public perception of the school and to educate alumnae on the ever-changing environment of the school as well as what their support would mean for the future of their school.

Liz began her career in development at Catholic Charities in Boston where she started out as the development assistant and over her ten years there, worked her way to becoming the Director of Special Events. Liz is a graduate of Boston College with a BA in English but knew she wanted a career where her work would make a difference. Through fundraising for the different non-profits in her career, she has achieved this goal.
