Ruth Chaffee is a Staff Clinician at the Center for Effective Child Therapy at Judge Baker Children’s Center. She received her undergraduate degree in American Studies at Wesleyan University and her master’s degree in Learning and Behavior Disorders at the University of Louisville. She is currently a fourth year doctoral student in the School Psychology program at Northeastern University. Ms. Chaffee has experience in working with children and adolescents in multiple settings including schools and summer treatment programs. After receiving her master’s degree, Ms. Chaffee worked as a special education teacher for seven years in New Haven, CT and Louisville, KY. Broadly, her research is focused on empirically-based social-emotional and behavioral interventions, as well as intervention implementation barriers in the school environment.
