Judge Baker Children’s Center marks its 11th Year with the Rodman Ride for Kids
On Saturday, September 24th, a picture perfect fall day, 24 cyclists and 13 volunteers represented Judge Baker Children’s Center at the 26th annual Rodman Ride for Kids. Led by trustee and team co-chair Rick Breed and his son Richard Breed, Team Baker had a strong presence in both the 50 mile and 25 mile courses. Trustee Bob Holdway joined the Breeds on the 50 mile course and fellow trustee Dave Martens headed out on the 25 mile course. Our remaining team members were Judge Baker staff, family members, supporters and a special duo of a father and his son who is currently enrolled in our Manville School. Thank you one and all!
We would also like to acknowledge our volunteers, some who came out at 6:00 a.m., for their help in pinning bib numbers on the back of more than 1,000 riders. Trustees, staff, family and friends all worked together to create a seamless registration experience for every rider. We thank them for their time and their support as they cheered on our Team Baker riders.
Currently, Judge Baker is about two thirds of the way to our fundraising goal of $125,000. If you would like to make a donation in support of Judge Baker Children’s Center, please click here.
