Phone Screening and Scheduling a Visit

Here’s how the process works:

  1. First, schedule a phone appointment with the Intake Coordinator by clicking HERE. Remember to add this appointment to your own calendar. The Intake Coordinator will call you at the time you have scheduled. She will answer any questions you have and tell you about our services. Together you will determine if you will proceed to the next step.

  2. The Intake Coordinator will spend approximately 30 minutes on the phone with you to complete a phone screening. You will explain your concerns about your child and she will explain what services we may have that could help. She will also explain payment options.

  3. If we determine that CECT is a good fit for your family and you decide that you would like to come in, the Intake Coordinator will schedule an in-person assessment for you and your child. If we determine that you would be better served by another provider, we will give you referrals to local providers.

  4. If you are scheduled for an assessment, you will be seen by one of our providers at CECT. A couple of weeks after the assessment, you will come in for a feedback session and receive a written diagnostic assessment report on your child.

  5. If you continue on for treatment, you will be scheduled with the next available therapist. Please be aware that wait times to enter into treatment vary from one to several weeks, depending on how busy we are.
