Judge Baker Welcomes Primo Fontana & Christopher Cabral to the Board of Trustees

BOSTON, MA (June 6, 2018) - Judge Baker Children’s Center (Judge Baker), a national leader in children’s mental health, today announced that it recently elected Primo A.J. Fontana, a partner at DLA Piper, and Christopher D. Cabral, a vice-president at Fiduciary Trust, to its Board of Trustees.

Primo focuses his practice at DLA Piper on real estate acquisitions, dispositions, sale-leasebacks, joint ventures, financing, leasing, development and restructuring. In his capacity as a trustee of Judge Baker, Primo’s expertise will be an invaluable asset as the Board of Trustees continues to support Judge Baker’s growth and expansion aspirations.

At Fiduciary Trust, Christopher focuses on advising families and charities on all aspects of their investment portfolios, with an emphasis on asset allocation, portfolio construction, and investment selection. Christopher’s background will provide vital expertise to Judge Baker’s investment and financial planning activities.

Primo has represented investors, buyers, sellers, lenders, landlords, tenants, and developers in numerous high profile ventures. His credentials include bar admissions in Massachusetts and New York. Prior to joining DLA Piper, Primo served as an in-house lawyer at Fidelity Investments working with Fidelity's private equity real estate group. In that role, he had primary legal responsibility for the group, including placement and management of joint venture and mezzanine loan transactions. Primo has a J.D. from Boston College Law School and a B.S. from the Robert D. Clark Honors College at the University of Oregon.

Christopher is a senior member of Fiduciary Trust’s investment team and has led the firm’s third-party investment manager selection activities, which includes the evaluation, selection, and monitoring of external managers across multiple asset classes. He has more than 20 years of investment experience, including over a decade with Fiduciary Trust. Christopher is a Chartered Financial Analyst® charterholder and a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society. Prior to joining Fiduciary in 2005, he was a Senior Investment Consultant at Pillar Financial Advisors. Christopher’s community involvement activities include the United Way of Massachusetts Bay – Investment Committee, Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund – Investment Committee, and the Babson College Coaching for Leadership and Teamwork Program. Christopher has a B.S. in Finance from Babson College.
