Judge Baker Children’s Center Welcomes Scott Goebel & Eric Tjonahen, M.D. to the Board of Trustees

BOSTON, MA (March 4, 2020) -Judge Baker Children’s Center (Judge Baker), a national leader in children’s mental health, announced today that it has recently elected Scott Goebel, President & COO of Entrustody, Inc., a financial technology start-up, and Eric Tjonahen, M.D., a practicing pediatrician at Pediatric Associates of Norwood & Franklin, to its Board of Trustees.

"Their unique backgrounds and expertise will be invaluable as we move toward expanding our impact and improving the quality of care for children and families."

Scott Goebel is currently the President & COO of Entrustody, Inc., a financial technology start-up. Prior to this new venture, Scott served in various senior business and legal roles at Fidelity Investments for more than 18 years. Early in his career, Scott worked as an attorney at Ropes and Gray, LLP, and spent four years as an active-duty officer in the U.S. Army. Scott holds an undergraduate degree from Princeton University and a J.D. from Cornell Law School.

Eric Tjonahen, M.D., has been a practicing pediatrician at the Pediatric Associates of Norwood & Franklin since 2011. His current practice serves over 20 towns and communities in the Greater Boston area and has been at the forefront of incorporating Patient and Family-Centered Medical Home strategies. In addition to caring for his patients and their families, Dr. Tjonahen has served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine as a preceptor for medical students in outpatient pediatrics. Dr. Tjonahen received his undergraduate degree from Tufts University in Child Development and his medical degree at Tufts University School of Medicine. He went on to complete his pediatric residency and training at Brown University in Providence, RI at Hasbro Children’s Hospital. Dr. Tjonahen is a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society as well as a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
