Judge Baker Children's Center endorses Call for Action to Prevent Gun Violence in the USA

Today, Judge Baker Children's Center joins over 50 national organizations representing over 5 million professionals in endorsing the "Call for Action to Prevent Gun Violence in the United States of America" authored by the Interdisciplinary Group on Preventing School and Community Violence.

Manville School will be CLOSED on Friday, January 5th due to the winter storm. Judge Baker Children's Center will have a limited opening after 12 noon.

As we celebrate our Centennial Year, we look back on the history of Judge Baker Children’s Center. Established in 1917, the Center was developed to address the social and mental health needs of the children of greater Boston as a legacy to the work of Judge Harvey H. Baker who was the first juvenile court judge in Massachusetts. Judge Baker saw children in his court who were labeled as “delinquent”, but he saw them differently.
