Gavin Meade, BA

Program Assistant

Gavin Meade is the Program Assistant at the Center for Effective Child Therapy. He graduated from Hamilton College with majors in Neuroscience and Cultural Anthropology where he received departmental honors for his thesis examining the role of exercise as a prophylactic measure in an animal model of emotional contagion of depression.

Gavin currently manages office operations, coordinates the intake process for families at CECT, and assists clinicians in administrative tasks. He also conducts tasks in support of MATCH-ADTC training/PICT implementation. Gavin is interested in studying the role emotional contagion plays in family models of depression and anxiety and in working with young adults and their families. After his time at Judge Baker Children’s Center, Gavin plans to pursue a doctoral degree in clinical psychology.
